The work of Pietro Romanelli, began in 1964, as maintenance of the first machines for bakeries and confectioneries.
This activity brought in direct contact with the industry, with their problems and their aspirations for improvement in work and their equipment, especially on the wheels for trolley of ovens.
At that time, in fact, the wheels were of cast iron, heavy and loud, ruining the floors of laboratories, wore out easily and required constant maintenance.
It was then continuously treated, since it allows us to remain in close contact with the bakers and confectioners listening to their problems, finding and suggesting the most appropriate solutions, and collaborating with leading companies in the industry, has the potential to provide more first aid and an efficient service.
The wheels have been tested on site in Italian and foreign bakeries (especially Germany), with great customer satisfaction.
Today, Ruote Romanelli is a brand of RU IN CAR Srl, a production company that produce a wide range a caster wheels since 1968.

Our castors are available with either pre-assembled 1-hole or 4-hole fastenings - to match your rack trolleys.
Romanelli wheels are made from select materials and components such as stainless steel, anticorodal aluminium, Teflon self-lubricating bush and Teflon-filled or special rubber tread. They are rated for operating weights from 150 to 350 kg (weight of trolley + product).
Wheels can be supplied with 4-hole or single-hole stainless steel swivel plates: the bearing balls of the plates are also in stainless steel instead of the market-standard iron. This means that they do not rust and swivel plates will always pivot and function perfectly.
Due to their elasticity in operation, rubber tread wheels do not "feel" the joints between flooring tiles, making them more suitable for particularly delicate locations. All wheels are resistant to low and high temperatures (from –40°C to +300°C) and are self-lubricating.
They must be cleaned with hot water only, they require absolutely no lubrication or other maintenance.
The construction materials used do not emit pollutant and/or harmful vapours or fumes.
